I don’t see where the word, “Import,” is ANYWHERE on the Photos App and I am using an Apple Lightning to SD reader. Very frustrating.where is it?

For clarification - with introduction of iPadOS, the import photos prompt to which you refer doesn’t now occur. Instead, you should be able to simply import using the native Files App.
