Unlike the normally correct instructions on SMS with iPhone, it still will not sync. And, yes, with iPhones they will connect. The SMS green button is on but no matter. I still cannot connect with androids. This is both sending and receiving.
My iPhone works fine alone, just not MacBook.

Update: Spoke with Apple dealer today. He said that my issue is not unusual as they are getting that same problem across Macs and iPads.
With the new Ventura update, Apple is shutting down the MMS with MacBooks, etc. NOT iPhones - now. It has something to do with the new software update. Apple has yet to say if they will restore this to our iPads and MacBooks.
Of course, I can't say this is absolute truth. However, as my messaging suddenly disappeared on my Mac, it does make sense.
Oh, one more thing. When I hit the Bluetooth icon on my MacBook, it will "connect" for ten seconds and then disappears. However, my iPhone says it is connected to my MacBook!
