How do I stop the color of my font from changing to a lighter color on my lock screen when it goes into Always on standby?

I changed the color of the font of the clock and widgets on my lock screen to a dark purple but every time I put it on standby in the "Always On" mode, it changes to a lighter pinkish color. How do I stop this from happening? I want it to remain the dark purple I set it as.

Hello Zempra,

What you are seeing is a due to the transparency of the fonts, and what is behind them. You can try changing the background picture and see how it affects those colors.

The page you came from, Change the wallpaper on your iPhone, explains how to change the background.
