Apple Music streaming turns off hifi randomly when changing songs

i wonder if anyone has had the same issue and knows a fix? When streaming Apple Music from iPhone to Apple TV (4K) connected to Sony STR DN1080 receiver, if I skip or change songs, sometimes the whole system randomly shuts down and turns off everything. I have tried to find a setting that may explain why this is happening and even looked up other questions across forums to see if anyone else is having this same issue, but I can’t seem to find a reason for this happening? Any ideas / suggestions welcome!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Are you connecting the iPhone to Apple TV via AirPlay? If so, the steps in this Apple Support article should help you resolve this: If screen mirroring or streaming isn't working on your AirPlay-compatible device - Apple Support

"Try these steps first

After each step, see if you still need help.

Make sure that your AirPlay-compatible devices are turned on and near each other.
Check that the devices are updated to the latest software and are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Restart the devices that you want to use with AirPlay or screen mirroring."

Hi thank you. Yes I am streaming via Airplay 2. The streaming works fine, music plays from my playlists fine, then if I tap to play a different song, instead of just switching to the new track - which is what you’d expect - the Apple TV turns off, which in turn then switches off my amp at the same time. Any ideas?
