Burnt ipad charging port

Hi everyone so I ended up getting chick fl a sauce on my charger. I thought I cleaned it out but I didn’t so while my IPad was charging the USBC melted along with inside being burnt. I’ll insert some pictures here. My question is what do I do? I have AppleCare plus on it but it seems like the charging port is damaged

They will be able to tell you more about your repair options.

An active AppleCare+ plan provides coverage for accidental damage.


While your charging cable are and iPad are likely beyond repair, you should take the iPad and cables, along with details of your AppleCare+ plan along to the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store - where you will be able to explore your available options:
