Need help - can't seem to open certain URLs

I have looked here and there were issues and responses from 5-7 years ago, but I want an updated response if anyone has one. I tried clicking on a link in my email and received this:

There is no application set to open the URL x-webdoc://3523B436-2FF0-4833-A75E-D058ECC51526?src=71&prsku=YEH10032&siteLink=true.

The link will not open. When I try "Open with" there is nothing there. I chose "Other" and all browser apps are greyed out.

How do I tell it that it's okay to use the browsers to open links like this?

OS Monterey 12.6

Thanks!

Thanks!! I have copied the last comment (from link above) here in case someone else is getting these and wants an updated comment!

"The problem isn't the mail client, the problem with x-webdoc is

literally no browser supports it. Because of this it means there is no

registered handler for the URI so clicking the link in an email client

will do nothing.

From what I've read x-webdoc is part of internal functions for CMS

software and not meant to be a user facing feature. So when a

misconfigured CMS sends out an x-webdoc link you end up with customers

that simply don't engage with your product at all."
