While unfortunate, counterfeit AirPods do exist. We'd recommend locating the serial number using the steps here: Find the serial number of your AirPods - Apple Support
Then enter it into Apple's Check Coverage site: Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support
If the serial number does not show as genuine, we'd recommend contacting Apple Support directly for additional assistance.
