“AirPods connected” annoying pop up issue

Every time I see the notifications and push the bar up I see “AirPods Connected” pop up on top of the screen. I have to push up that pop up to get the notifications bar again. It’s really annoying me. I know AirPods are connected they are in my ears if not the will be disconnected right? The pop is really annoying. Can anyone know how to fix this issue please help me….???
