Hi,
I use shared notes a lot. I do NOT receive a push notification when changes are made to the notes. I only receive a notification when I open the Notes app... I believe I have all proper settings turned on but it doesn't work. I have notifications on, iCloud notes set to Push. Am I missing something?

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to get notifications for changes to Shared Notes on your iPhone. Looking at this Apple resource Share notes and collaborate on iPhone - Apple Support it is expected to not see a notification badge or push notification for changes:
"In the notes list, an orange dot to the left of a note title indicates the note has changed since you last looked at it.
1. Open the note, then swipe right on the note or swipe up on the Activity card to see who made changes and when.0
2. To adjust how the activity is shown, tap, then choose any of the following:
Show Updates: Shows changes made since you last opened the note.
Show All Activity: Shows all activity in the note.
Show Highlights: Shows names, dates, and changes made by each collaborator."
