"No response" suddenly with my Eufy Indoor cam pan and Tilt camera in Home app

I have a Eufy Indoor cam pan and Tilt camera that I bought last year and using since then. Few weeks ago it kept show "not responding" in home app. To narrow things down below are some facts:


  • The camera is functioning properly in the Eufy app. It shows live, videos it recorded
  • The share data/app permission setting, network are all checked. Tried on and off share data and the issue still exists
  • Have tried to remove and re-add the device twice, still exist
  • There were a few times its working in home app, and there were times when even the "not responding" remarks still in home app, I can actually see live video in the Home app
  • I have some other smart home devices, such as Demo switch, hue lights and sensibo. They are all working properly
  • I have the apple 4K TV as home hub, and I checked to make sure all of them are using the same wifi network


Please kindly help as I am desperate to get this issue resolved. One additional issue is, not sure if its related, the "modes" changed while I was at home, and it triggered the alarm...

You've done some great troubleshooting steps so far! A couple of things we thought of that you hadn't mentioned. Have you checked for, and then updated, if available your Apple TV, iPhone and eufy app? Here are the instruction pages for you:

How to manually update apps on your iPhone or iPad
1. Open the App Store.
2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
Swipe down from the upper center of the screen to refresh. Plug your iPhone into power, if you have more than a couple of apps to update.
3. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All.

Learn what to do if you can't update an app on your iPhone or iPad.

If everything is already updated, or after the updates, restart all of your devices, including the eufy camera.

Then test again, to see if you can see the camera in the Home app.


If you're still seeing "No Response", we'd advise to check with the eufy manufacturer. We did find a help page for them, and this page has to do with "Modes", since you mentioned that was the last thing that happened.
