How can I add additional email accounts to my IPad

I want to add multiple email accounts to my iPad. How can I do that? I have tried several online suggestions but none work.

Settings>Mail>Accounts>Add Account.

How to add 2 Gmail accounts to iPhone, showing both account addresses I'm new to iPhone so I know I must be doing something wrong.
