I share a note with my sister. Since upgrading to iOS 16 I get an annoying notification every time I text her that tell me that I’ve updated the shared note. I cannot find a way to turn this off that works. Several things look like they will do the trick but the notifications keep coming. Apple has made shared notes unusable for me if there isn’t a way to mute these iMessage notifications. Is there any setting that will do this?

Are notifications coming to both you and your sister when an update to the shared note happens? Does that happen when you make an update or when you go to Messages to send her a message about the update?
If this happens when in the Notes app, you can follow these steps to Manage Alerts for this note: Share notes and collaborate on iPhone - Apple Support
Change sharing settings
Manage a shared note:
1. Tap
2. Tap Manage Shared Note
3. Turn on Hide Alerts

It looks like the 16.1 update gives a way to turn this off. I opted out and so far so good.
