Haptic sound incredibly loud

I’ve always used my haptic feedback but it just recently got very loud. How can I turn down the haptic volume without turning it off completely?

Hello Anne-Paige,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities.

We understand you're looking for assistance with haptic feedback, so let's see if we're able to help out.

If you're referring to haptic feedback with an iPhone, the only options we're finding are to turn this on or off. Let us know when you experience this being too loud so we're able to see if we can help with that, and you can locate more details on haptic feedback here: Change iPhone sounds and vibrations - Apple Support

Turn haptic feedback off or on
1. On supported models, go to Settings  > Sounds & Haptics.

2. Turn System Haptics off or on.

3. When System Haptics is off, you won’t hear or feel vibrations for incoming calls and alerts.

If you're referring to an Apple Watch instead, you can adjust between Prominent and Default without turning Haptic Alerts off. To locate this, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics. You can locate more detail on Haptic Alerts with an Apple Watch here: Change the audio and notification settings on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

If we misunderstood what you're referring to, provide more detail for us to understand.

Have a great day!
