So I just recently got a magic keyboard for my IPad Air. I realized when you click the arrow keys on the Home Screen it outlines different apps, and if you click return it opens them. The problem is once the app highlight is there I cannot get rid of it. I would like to know how to get rid of the highlighted apps

The behavior you're describing seems like one of accessibility features is turned on. You can check by navigating to: Settings > Accessibility. See if one of the features is turned on.
If so, turn it off, and let us know if the issue persists.
