Migration assistant concern

I didn’t get a prompt to create an admin password on my new Mac and the files are transferring at the moment….will I have an issue when the transfer is completed when continuing the set up?

Migration Assistant & Keychain I used Migration Assistant to transfer files & data from my old MacBook Air to new MacBook Air M2, but only a few passwords / keychain items showed up on the new machine. How can this be rectified? Many thanks for (hopefully) a simple solution...

Migrating from old iMac to new MacBook Pro that has a new user/admin name What happens to the user/admin account on the new MacBook Pro that is not identically named to the old user/admin that is moving from the old iMac?

No, you shouldn't. If you create an admin account before hand and then migrate your user data from a TM backup or from the other Mac you'll end up with two accounts. Since you didn't the user account should transfer.from the TM backup or other Mac as they were on the old Mac.
