iCloud storage.

I have 7000 photos and videos combined and it says that I’ve used 200gb of storage in my iCloud. My mum has over 20,000 photos and videos and yet she is nowhere near the 200gb mark. Why is it that she is able to have more photos and videos than me? Can anybody help with this? Much appreciated :)

compared my mom’s storage to mine and it doesn’t make sense my mom has 64gb on her phone + her icloud subscription which is 50 gb. she also has only 40 files on her photos app. i have 256gb on my phone + 200 gb on icloud. i have 5122 photos & videos. her phone keeps telling her she has no storage space left so i went and checked and it’s so strange. my phone says my photos app is occupying 1.38 gb whereas hers says it’s 37.44 gb. that makes no sense to me considering she has much less photos and videos than me. we have her icloud synced and we have optimized her photo settings too. has someone got any clue what’s going on?

How do I separate 2 iCloud accounts? I want to separate from a family members iCloud + account. Is it possible to keep all my photos, my plan is to buy my own iCloud Storage and somehow transfer it? I really don't want to download them, because of timestamps and locations. Would love people's opinion on this. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

iCloud family sharing “manage storage” Hey! I have 200GB iCloud (iCloud+) storage, I shared it with my sister. I have used 64GB in my phone. Shhe have used 5,6GB. But I can’t do pictures it shows that you don’t have enough storage. How? I have 200-64-5,6= 130,4GB.. Why it shows that I need more storage? And how I can use ot with no problems?? Thanks for every help! :)

Either they're smaller and shorter on average, or you have other data in your storage.
