Why is there not a print option for books created in Pages?

Books: not being able to choose "Print edition page numbers". I need Books to display print edition page numbers. How can I set the computer to show them? So far I cannot choose between Digital book page numbers and Print edition page numbers. If I cannot do this, the application is useless for me. I need to use the print edition page number for citations.

There is – Command P, unless you are trying to print it from another application.
