Browser paste permission

Hello,

When I was pasting some text in a browser, I accidentally pressed don't allow when 'allow paste' popup showed and now I can't paste anything in the browser and popup is not showing anymore.

Is there an option to allow paste for browser?

Hi sasa263,

Thanks for posting in Apple Communities.

Start with a restart of iPhone using the steps here: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support Sometimes a simple restart can help resolve issues.

  1. "Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
  3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."

Also, update to the latest iOS version: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

For app permissions, go through the Safety Check to find what apps have permission:

You can use Safety Check to check whom you’re sharing information with, restrict Messages and FaceTime to your iPhone, reset system privacy permissions for apps, change your passcode, change your Apple ID password, and more."

Hi sasa263,

Thanks for posting in Apple Communities.

With Pasteboard permission not allowing you to paste in the app again, to address the issue, start with a restart of iPhone. If you're unable to restart iPhone, backup to iCloud or your computer and update to iOS 16.0.3. This update has the latest bug and performance fixes. For ongoing behavior, reset your settings. This will reset your settings to default so it is best to have a current backup in iCloud or your computer prior to doing this.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

After the backup is completed, be sure you have Wi-Fi password nearby. Time to reset the settings.

This won't erase any content such as contacts, messages, or photos, but will remove current wallpaper, passcode, wifi passwords, ringtones, Apple Pay, and Face ID.

  1. Open Settings app
  2. Tap on General
  3. Scroll down and tap Transfer or Reset iPhone
  4. Select Reset
  5. Choose Reset All Settings.

Allow iPhone to restart and then try pasting content.

If this behavior continues, contact Apple Support to investigate the behavior further for a solution.

Regards.
