Race Route option not appearing in workout app

Hi,

I´m in watch os 9 and i have made some outdoor workouts. When i try to start a new outdoor run the option to Race Route doesnt appear.

I have all location services enabled, the previous runs shows me the maps in the iphone app.

What is failing?

Apple Watch Race Route I am unable to get my previous race routes to show up on the Race Route feature on my Apple Watch Series 8 with WatchOS 9.2. I have location enabled on my phone and watch and have run a few different routes 2 or 3 times. The routes show up in a map view in my fitness app but my watch does not have them available for selection in the outdoor run menu. Am I missing something to enable or access the Race Route feature?

How to you use the Race route running feature in outdoor run? Apple Watch Series 5 GPS (Model# A2093) Watch OS 9.2 (20S361) iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 16.2 I cannot figure out why I can't find the Race Route running feature for my runs. I run the same 5km route and have completed this same route a few times now. however, the route doesn't show up under outdoor run > routes when starting the workout when I get to my route starting point. I have reset the watch and re-sync with the phone. Cant get it to work. Any help will be much appreciated. I even asked ChatGTP, no luck I have checked, all the location settings are enabled Apple Watch Workout > While using the app Maps > While using the app System Services > Motion Calibration & Distance For my runs, I can see that it has recorded the route and I see that in the map section. I have attached the screenshots for the last two runs. I ran the exact same route both times this week.

Cannot use Google maps in Apple Watch 8, OS10 Google maps does nothing. I open it, it says CURRENT TRIP: not navigating (regardless if I have navigation set on my iPhone). The only other options it gives me is to edit shortcuts and set travel mode. Location services are on. I saw all the fancy stuff the new operating system can do (eg see what’s walkable, find perfect trail) but I get no options or functionality at all.

The Race Route function isn’t available yet. This will come in later WatchOS versions.
