How do I add a family member to my Apple Card

I’m trying to add my wife to my Apple Card to help her credit and I’m haveing trouble

Why is a member of my family unavailable for sharing my Apple Card My husband and daughter are both in my family. When I go into my Apple Card only my daughter is available for sharing. It says my husband is unavailable for sharing. His phone is up to date, his birthday is correct, his apple pay is set up and the region is correct on his phone. Not sure what else I can try. Please help

Adding my son to the account I was just reading that I can add a person onto my Apple Card and they can also build credit this way?
