PLEASE HELP! My AirPods Pro 2 will not connect with my Pixel 6 pro.

They connect initially, but drop the signal within a minute or two. Sometimes they will reconnect, but then drop again after a short time. I have disconnected/reconnected the AirPods multiple times, reset my bluetooth on my phone, etc. and nothing works. I have also have this problem with my laptop (Thinkpad).

Are the AirPods Pro 2 not compatible with non-Apple equipment?? If there isn't a fix for this problem they are worthless to me. Very disappointed since I have been a big fan of my AirPods Pro for several years and was excited about the Pro 2 launch.

Is there a fix for this?

"Thank you for the suggestion. I had my wife update the firmware with her iPhone, but it did not fix the problem. I still am unable to maintain a bluetooth connection with my Pixel 6 pro. Very disappointed - my hope is that this is not an intentional 'turf war' thing, and Apple will fix."
