I have some bookmarks on my Home Screen which I am not able to delete since the X doesn’t show up on them. My phone is in the version iOS 16. I tried the screen time> content and privacy and the deleting apps option is set to allow. But I am still not able to delete the bookmarks.
kindly please suggest a solution for it.

Understood, we appreciate you checking. If you to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, are these two bookmarks showing listed there at all? If so, see if you can delete them from this area.
Check for any profiles or device management as well under Settings > Profiles & Device Management. An installed profile might be the reason that these bookmarks cannot be deleted.
If you are still unable to remove these from your iPhone, then we would recommend contacting Apple Support. They would be the best suited to investigate what's happening further. Reach out here: Apple Support

If the steps from Organize the Home Screen and App Library on your iPhone are not allowing you to adjust the home screen, Return iPhone settings to their defaults offers this option:

I have reset the Home Screen settings and also reset the whole phone’s settings but the bookmarks are still present on my Home Screen and they still don’t get the X on them in the edit Home Screen mode.

Deleting a management profile following the steps : Settings > profiles & device management has helped.
The bookmarks are no longer present on the Home Screen.

unfortunately, there are no bookmarks to delete in my list.
there is only the fido link. The tab groups I empty as well.

The bookmarks that you show in your last image are in the Favorites folder and are displayed in a slightly different manner. Were you able to get the bookmarks deleted?
