AppleTV Fitness repeatedly freezing mid workout

Since the TVOS 16 update, my Apple Fitness+ workouts have been pausing/buffering/freezing. I have to fully exit and then resume work out.

My connection is wired gigabit ethernet. All the other AppleTV 4K functions work fine.

It's frustrating (please don't reply with "it must be frustrating...") to have paid for the Fitness service and have it basically unavailable. Moreover, in the community discussions I see that this is not a problem unique to me; something has happened that causes this problem.

Is it time for .01 update?
