Must I buy insurance for my ear buds?

Just got iPhone 14. Ear pods are from 12. Must I buy warranty?

Warranty is free, included with all Apple devices.

If you mean Apple Care+, then it must be bought within 60 days of having purchased the AirPods. If you had Apple Care+ on them already, then it continues to exist for them, and you should not need to buy it again.
