Skip ahead 10 seconds AirPod Pro second gen

On the AirPod Pro second generation, I want to click twice and have it skip ahead 10 or so seconds during a podcast as I did with my first generation AirPod Pro. However, with second generation, when I double click I am sent to the next podcast entirely. Is there a setting I can change to skip ahead 10 seconds instead?

Hello Wadeko

We understand you'd like to be able to fast forward a podcast 10 seconds using your AirPods. We'd be happy to assist you with this! The steps here should help you get that set up: Change the settings of your AirPods and AirPods Pro

"Change the double-tap action on AirPods (1st and 2nd generation)

You can choose what you want to happen when you double-tap one of your AirPods (1st and 2nd generation):

  1. Open your charging case.
  2. With your AirPods in your ears and connected to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, go to Settings > Bluetooth. Alternatively, you can go to Settings > AirPods.
  3. Tap the More Info button  next to your AirPods.
  4. Select the left or right AirPod to choose which AirPod you'd like to double-tap for Siri, playing or pausing audio content, or skipping between tracks."
