Hello JECH606--,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We'll provide some guidance for your question about an Exchange password. Exchange is the mail server used with Microsoft. That password would most likely be for your Microsoft mail account, typically to set up within Outlook. You would need to check with whomever set up that mail account for you, either a business or school IT department. This is the Microsoft instructions on configuring an Outlook mail account in the iOS Mail app on your iPhone:

Set up an Outlook account on the iOS Mail app

If you are being prompted for a password, check here:

  1. Tap Settings > Mail > Accounts
  2. If you see one listed that may be titled Outlook or Exchange, tap on it
  3. Tap Account [address]
  4. Tap the password field

If you don't know the password to that email account, you'll need to check with whomever set it up as we described above. If you think you may know it, once you've identified the account, input it into the password field and tap Done in the upper right. That should resolve the popup requesting your password.

Feel free to reply back with any questions or concerns.

Take care.
