Fall Detection didn't work.

On September 24th, I fell 12 feet when the base of my ladder slipped. I followed the ladder and fell to the pavement and onto the fallen ladder. My Apple Watch7 titanium case received a deep scratch, but never detected the fall.

Fall detection has always been activated on my watch, and it has at multiple times detected non-falls... (while hammering, shovelling, etc.)

However, Is it normal that a 200 lb 71 yr-old man can fall 12 feet onto pavement, the Apple Watch7 titanium case gets damaged, but the fall is never detected???

Fall detection was the primary reason that I purchased this watch... I'm recuperating slowly, but I'm very disappointed with my watch.
