automation not working

My automation is not working. I followed the instructions, but it does not initiate. I'm trying to set a light to turn on at a certain time, and off in the morning. Does the HomeKit allow for on and off settings? I must have a setting incorrectly configured and could use some pointers on setting up. Thx.
