Double charge in both gift card and apple credit card.
This been asked before but here again. I bought a $30 ITunes card at the store. Pay for an in-app purchase for $29.99, and balance after was 1 cent, which is correct. Then I got a notification from Apple Credit card of a new charge of 29.99, obviously a duplicate. I reported the problem and it was corrected (more or less). I specifically asked for the reversal to be applied to the credit card, instead it was return to the gift card.
The problem is that now im forced to 1) pay the balance on the credit card, and 2) consume the 30 back in the gift card (or ITunes account if you want) or not use it, but I still will spend double what I intended (the $30 paid for the gift card, and the $29.99 balance).
the other problem is that Apple Credit card isnt even my primary payment method (is PayPal) so why it automatically went to Apple Card, i dont know. Im worried now of consuming the “gift card” and then find a new charge in Paypal or Apple credit card. Finally, if this were to happen and I ask for another refund, will they again apply to the gift card-iTunes balance and it becomes a cycle.
