I changed my password and it’s still saying I’m locked out

changing my password did not unlock my account, what do I do? I can’t update anything

If your account is disables in iTunes and App Store (rather than locked), changing the password doesn't help. You need to contact Apple. This is primarily a user-to-user support forum; other Apple users like you. You will need to contact Apple Support.
