My iPad Pro has gone to a black screen and will not turn on or show charging, any ideas please?

If nothing in this support article helps, I think your only option is to contact Apple for help. If needed, you can send your iPad to them for service.

I would be absolutely sure that the force restart isn't working first (volume up/down, hold power). If it doesn't turn on, it's a hardware issue. The timing is a little tricky, so try it a few times, and be sure to hold the volume button for at least twenty seconds.

My IPad is a little over a year old. I did an Apple update and now it will no longer turn on or charge. Apple needs to handle this situation. It seems like a planned event. I have read that this has happened to many people.
