Music doesn’t play

Is anyone else experiencing Apple Music not playing songs? The app runs fine but my music stops and nothing happens when pressing the pause/play button. Recently updated to iOS 16.0.2

Apple Music gets stuck at the end of a song on iOS 16.4 Since updating to iOS 16.4, I have a queued set of songs and music would stop randomly playing at the end of a song. The queue is still visible and won’t continue until I press “next”. This has happened on iPhone 13 Pro (both Wi-Fi and 5G) and iPad Pro (Wi-Fi). I have restarted devices and closed the Music App but issue still persists on both devices.

Since that persists with the latest version of iOS, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support: Contact - Official Apple Support They'd be in the best position to look into this behavior further.
