Iphone 14 lockscreen wallpaper changing

I recent switched from an iphone xr to the iphone 14 pro max. I love most of the new features, but cant stand the wallpaper changing from lock screen keybind. I leave wallpapers the same for long times so if I wanted them to change I’d do it manually and fine going through the settings. But half the time when just trying to open my phone I hold for too long and instead of just going to desktop and unlocking it thinks I’m trying to change my wallpaper from the lock screen. Or sometimes it just seems to do it automatically even tho I barely touched it. Is there a way to turn off this feature?
