Group messages not sending

Having issues with messages not sending when in a group thread. This only started with updating to iOS 16 with someone in the thread that has an Android phone. I have SMS turned on, so this is not the issue. I thought it was my VPN, but even with that off, I still have issues. Restarting the phone also doesn’t help. I have tried all the troubleshooting tips online and nothing works. I have an iPhone 13 Pro. Need help getting this issue fixed.

Hey Jakoski,

The steps below can help if you're having issues sending group SMS:

"Open Messages and tap the Compose button .
Enter the phone numbers or email addresses of your contacts.
Type your message, then tap the Send button .

If you have other issues with a group message, you might need to delete the conversation and start a new one. To delete a group message:

Open Messages and find the conversation that you want to delete.
Swipe left over the conversation.
Tap Delete."
