My AirPods Pro 2 keep losing connection

What's the Device? Are these connected to a Mac? If so, refer to the following....

• Bluetooth: If you can't Connect a Bluetooth Accessory to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

• Use the MacBook Pro's builtin Bluetooth adapter (Not the USB Bluetooth receiver), You would only need to connect it once with the MacBook Pro. When you no longer need to use it, just delete it from the list of devices. Sometimes, you might need to reset the SMC.

I’m on my 2nd pair too. I’ve noticed a static noise and on occasion cutting out. I’ve found this is sometimes worse when looking at the phone. When testing on my friends phone the static noise was much less, if not gone. The only thing different was the fact I was not using Face ID. since then I’ve noticed that when picking phone up, I’ll get this odd static sound as the phone unlocks. I feel there is an issue/bug with Face ID too. I’m on latest iOS with 12 mini.

So I don’t believe the issue is with the AirPods, I think it could be with the phone.

I watched 3 videos on my iPad Pro and there were no issues. But as soon as I went to watch a video on my phone, the video froze.

The possible fix is erase the phone and setup as a new phone. Every comes back just need to down the apps one by one.

yeah this could be the only thing to do. I went to the Apple shop yesterday and paired up another pair of AirPods to my phone and the same thing happened again and this was with a pair of AirPods that Apple were Happy with me testing so I can only assume that these AirPods are totally fine. They recommended me setting my phone up as a new device as they felt that the issue is the phone. Phone.

I have had this problem too where I go to use the AirPods Pro 2 on my phone and it does not see it. It is also not seen on my computer. As soon as I pair it on the phone, it shows up on the computer. It gets an interesting name when it is paired. It shows as "AirPods Pro - find my" or something similar to that.

This has happened twice. This causes me to think it is not the phone since this info is shared with the other devices via my iCloud account.

Did a fresh install of the phone resolve this issue?

when you say lose connection does the music cut off completely? For how long for?

this has happened on all of mine so it’s either my phone or Firmware. I’m going to wait for new firemare (I’ve seen there is a beta) plus iOS 16.1 is due to be released too.

I had mine exchanged and I’m still having problems.

Apple will have a fix soon, hopefully sooner than later.

I tried AirPod Max with my phone, no issues, tried AirPods Pro 2 with with my iPad, not issue, however, Airpod pro 2 doesn’t work with my phone, this is confusing.

Out of interest, are you going to do a fresh install on your phone?
