I select 'new contact' (plus sign) and it brings up a blank card, but almost before I can type in any information, the card closes. I've learned to put in a name, at least, so I can find and edit the card in stages. I have no idea why this might be happening. I am running macOS Monterey v. 12.6 on a MacBook Pro. It's been happening since I first updated to Monterey and possibly before that.
