I switched carriers with my phone number. My new phone is activated but it is only sending texts from my Apple ID. Why is my phone number not sending them? Every time I try to activate my phone number it won’t let me put check mark (select) my number. An error message shows up when I click to select my phone number

I finally figured it out. My watch is from my previous phone carrier, once I deleted it from my Apple ID , my messages were going through . Just gotta figure THAT out now. Lol
