I got a new battery for my iPhone and the repairman told me that low power mode ruins the phones battery. Is this really correct? Shouldn't it be the opposite?

Who did you get a new battery from? Apple nor an Apple Authorized Service Provider would say such nonsense.
It was not from Apple but the company has 5 star review and seem pretty professional. I was just very confused by his statement as it contradicts apple completely.
