Air pods pro 2nd generation has no audio on Samsung smart tv

Does anyone know a solution to get the air pods pro 2nd generation have sound or consistent sound on a Samsung smart tv? I've tried every solution published by Apple support - resetting, re-pairing, upgrading to ios 16, forcing the firmware update - either they have no sound at all or the sound is very low quality. My old air pods connect perfectly and have perfect sound.
