can't read cd

I bought music cd but when I insert it in the disc drive ,after spinning for a bit it si expel out , I can not down load it to my I tunes files

If the CD drive plays other disks then most likely the disk is damaged.

itunes 'reading' wrong version of CD I've inserted my CD in to the computer and iTunes says there are four versions of it. I selected the title that matches the one on the CD case. When the songs show up, they aren't the same songs on the CD. I want to rip this CD and get the songs in my itunes. I've never had this problem before.
