As soon as hotspot is activated my iPhone turns off WiFi, even for USB or Bluetooth tethering. This is extremely annoying. Is there any chance to have this feature introduced in future?

No, I don’t mean password sharing nor any cellular access method. I mean using hotspot of iPhone regardless of how the phone is connected itself. This is like a repeater. This is possible with many Android devices. And it can be useful for laptops and other phones without need of register them into others WiFi again and again.

Probably you mean sharing WiFi Passowrd.
Make sure your device (the one sharing the password) is unlocked and connected to the Wi-Fi network. Select the Wi-Fi network on the device you want to connect. On your device, tap Share Password, then tap Done.

For WiFi simply share your WiFi password. That's it.
