Add calendar button not showing

I used to be able to right click on an event I was attending in the facebook app and "add to calendar". That option now doesn't appear. I've tried updating software, installing/reinstalling the app etc.


I can't see anywhere to check the default calendar for facebook in case it's a sync issue with my phone.


I feel like there should be an option to tell the facebook app to sync to (one of) my calendars but that isn't possible either.



Is there anything else to try!?

That's a great question! You can follow the steps listed below to add Facebook events to the Calendar app on your iPhone via the steps listed below. The steps listed below are provided directly by Facebook for adding calendar events from Facebook to iPhone, and can be found via the link below.


  1. In the bottom right of Facebook, tap Menu.
  2. Tap  Events, then tap the event you want to add to your calendar. If the event is recurring, tap the desired time you'd like to export.
  3. Tap moreMore then tap Add to Calendar.
  4. Tap OK.
