Running very high CPU with just one 1st party plugin

Just loading Retro Synth spikes my CPU to nearly half (on an M1 Mac with 16GB of ram)

Not sure how to resolve, running high latency, all old 3rd party plugins removed, Mac updated to latest software as well as Logic X

Mac Studio M2 Ultra - Geekbench score below average I have a new Mac Studio M2 Ultra, and I noticed in some ways performance was slower than on my much older Mac Pro. I ran Geekbench 6 and found the scores to be noticeably below average. I also noticed that the CPU seems to be running slower than it should be (2.85GHz instead of 3.68). I'm wondering if anyone has any insight as to why this may be. Is it possible there is something wrong with the machine?

System Overload but more than enough CPU Hello, I've got the Problem that Logic tells me my CPU is out of power while a max. of 20% is reached on my CPU. Logic gives me this: "System Overload - The audio engine was unable to process all required data in time. You can try increasing the I/O buffer size, change the Multithreading option at Logic Pro > Preferences > Audio > Devices." I'm working on a MacBookPro 15", 2019, 2,3 GHz 8-core i9, 32 GB RAM, OSX 10.15.7 What I've tried so far: increasing buffer size to max Setting the Multitherating to "Playbacktracks only" in Preferences > Audio Both didn't help. Macbook air M1 cpu slowdown Hi, my M1 macbook air has had a sudden slowdown. It's so bad that safari tabs literally take 2 whole seconds to open and when I'm doing a "power intensive" task, like video editing, gaming, or doing a benchmark. It gets so slow that safari literally freezes, and opening a new tab takes 10 whole seconds.

The AU hosting service is going at over 200% in the activity monitor as well
