Apple News App Keeps Shutting Down

Is there a problem today with the Apple News app? Anything I load through that app shuts down and back to home screen within a minute or so. Everything else seems to be working OK. Before today my 3rd Gen iPad Air with iPadOS 15.7 has worked fine.

Of does this indicate some other problem with my iPad? If someone has a suggested fix I will welcome it.

I’ve seen others reporting something similar. I don’t use apple news to know for sure but it may be something on their end.
