iPhone 13 mini battery percentage

I know that certain iPhone models don't have the battery percentage visible within the battery indicator with iOS16. So with that in mind these iPhone models do not have the battery percentage appear on the Lock Screen while charging, which makes it more cumbersome that now have to go to Control Center instead of just glancing at my Home Screen. Does anyone know of a way to get the battery percentage displayed on the Lock Screen while charging.

Also, this battery percentage in the battery indicator is a software issue and Apple claiming the battery indicator is too small I feel they could move the battery indicator on the left side and make it bigger so that these other models are capable to have this feature.
