Hello, community!
My Mid-2014 Macbook Pro keeps restarting itself after I updated to Big Sur 11.7.
This situation occurs randomly when I'm using with no hint, quite annoying...
Have run Apple diagnostics, no issues found.

But somehow I found if I unplugged thunderbolt to ethernet dongle, it works well.
Is that even possible this dongle messed-up whole computer?

6.) If an unexpected restart doesn't occur, turn off the Mac and connect one peripheral device at a time until an unexpected restart occurs.
It does sound like you've already isolated this issue to a specific accessory that is connected to your Mac. If you connected a different similar accessory, does your Mac continue to restart? If it doesn't and this issue only occurs with this one specific accessory, there might be an issue with the accessory.
