iOS 16.0 Lock Screen Weather Widgets

How to you get the weather widgets on the Lock Screen to work without location services? The one on the home page works fine, just not the new ones for the Lock Screen.

Weather widget not an option to add I can’t add the weather widget to my Lock Screen with iOS 16. It isn’t an option. I have turned my phone off, I have made sure Background refresh is on, location services are on, etc. The Weather App is simply not an option. What do I do?

Weather widget problem My weather widget is not working. It was working fine. I turned off the location services and restarted the phone and turned it on. But still it says Location services off. I have tried restarting the phone, removing the widget from lock screen and putting it back, nothing works. How do I solve this? Yes I have latest ios.

Hoping someone's found a hack for this. Same goes for the astronomy options. In the meantime, you might wish to join me in requesting the option to specify a city (or to inherit the default city from the app) at this link: Feedback - Weather - Apple
