See Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Check which email accounts are configured on each device. If necessary remove the accounts and set them up again.

Are you sharing an Apple ID? If yes then you need to a new ID for one of you. If you share IDs then what is set up on one device is essentially mirrored on other devices too, although some individual configuration of devices using the same ID may be possible, as turingtest2 describes.
