IOS 16 Wallpaper Blur

For some reason whenever I try to blur my homescreen wallpaper it just turns one solid color. I’ve tried different wallpapers and different effects and to no avail it’s still one solid color

Why is the wallpaper blurred on iPhone 11 running iOS 18? Every time i want an image for my wallpaper with a black background in it apple automatically blurs it, i’ve tested this with (apples) solar system wallpaper and a bunch of my own but every time they become blurry to the point where i can barely even see traces of the image. Blurry Wallpaper top Ever since updating to IOS17, whenever I try to scale my wallpapers to fit the screen the top of the screen gets blurry and ruins the wallpaper. I truly believe this is a software issue and hope Apple can fix this or simply give us the option to have it blurred vs not.

I have figured out the issue, the problem is that the “reduce transparency” setting was enabled. all you have to do is disable it.

OMG ! This is so helpful, I thought it was a bug on iOs. I've read so many posts on redit due to this.
