After updating to 12.6, on Sept 14th 2022, none of my USB audio devices work.

After updating to 12.6, on Sept 14th 2022, none of my external USB audio devices work. I normally use an iFi Zen Dac V2 but it won't output sound. I've also tried a Pre Box S2 Digital and a pair of Klipsch Fives. No sound on any external dac. The Mac can see the devices (they show in the output selector and in Midi config) but none of them are generating any sound. The iFi Zen Dav V2 was working perfectly before I did the OS update. I've already tried resetting PRAM.

Is anybody else having similar issues?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

Have you tried safe mode? Safe mode can help you troubleshoot issues.

Start your Mac in safe mode

Same kind of trouble. My Benchmark DAC (USB, main hifi output) is not recognised, and I have the same issue with my firewire Apogee Electronics Mini-DAC (Hifi output to desktop headphones amp.). My Edirol FA-101 firewire Dac (dedicated to midi input + mic + guitar input) still works from time to time. I know this is a lot of gear on a mac mini but it used to work fine running 3 of them on a 2009 Imac 27 for 10 years. Since the Imac HDD died a few weeks ago, I now use a 2014 mac mini with MAc OS 12.6. I plugged one in on USB3 port (never worked) and 2 firewire dacs on thunderbolt 2 ports withe firewire adapters. Again, the Edirol FA 101 is the only one that works now. Any idea how I could solve these issues?

Please help me out...
